Am I eligible?
To qualify for the Healthy Howard Health Plan, you must meet all of the criteria listed below:
- A Howard County resident
- A U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident
- At least 19 years of age, and less than 64 years of age
- Currently uninsured and not had health insurance for a minimum of 6 months prior to the date of your application to the Plan
- Not eligible or enrolled in Medicaid, Medicare, the Primary Adult Care Program, or Maryland Children's Health Program (MCHP)
- Annual household income is no more than 300% of the federal poverty level or FPL
This table shows the maximum yearly income allowed based on family size. Even if your income is a little higher than the amount shown for your family size, you may still qualify if you work, pay for child care, alimony or child support.

IMPORTANT: If you do not qualify for the Healthy Howard Health Plan, it is possible that you may qualify for another health care program. Our Enrollment Specialist will be able to find the right health care program for you and then refer you to that program.
